“David is reliable and a very competent Builder to work with, his knowledge and experience shows at his job sites, he has completed multiple projects for retaining walls in commercial multi lot subdivisions and single residential lot projects. He is capable of tacking on domestic building work and operates professionally and competently. He is very responsible and takes pride what he does; he is very determined, skillful and passionate about his work.”
“My experience working with Dave is that he is very knowledgeable, hard working and diligent. He has both excellent carpentry/construction skills and knowledge as well as a good business sense.”
“Dave places as much importance on the little things as he does on the big things, and he sees everything through to completion at an incredibly high standard.``
“I have been the registered structural design engineer for a number of projects for which it was the responsibility of David to manage, construct and deliver all of the construction works. David has been very much “hands on”, undertaking some of the actual construction works himself, whilst directing and managing his personnel, and liaising with the client, ourselves and other trades associated with other aspects of the projects. David is competent and diligent.”
On Friday 5th December we were awarded the 2014 Environmental Excellence Award at the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s (UDIA) Victoria annual awards.
The multi-award winning master-planned residential community won the award for its innovative urban wetland system, which captures and treats low stormwater flows from the surrounding street network before entering Lake Caroline detention basin before discharging to Kororoit Creek.
It is a precedent in Australia for this type of stormwater treatment system, and the result has created sustainable benefits for both the environment and people of Caroline Springs.
The Urban Wetland and Cascades system created a beautiful urban space that adds considerable value to surrounding homes and businesses through landscape amenity, better pedestrian connections and development of bio habitat. Populations of the critically endangered Growling Grass Frog colonise Lake Caroline and we expect that they will move up into the urban wetland and cascades over time.
Thanks for all your input and help from design to construction, landscape, maintenance and award submission. A really good result.
